New parallel rule in a compact size that is particularly suited for use on modern small chart tables. All the features of standard parallel rule but fits in pocket and is easier to use. Patented locking knob allows rapid determination of waypoints from charts. Two sets of finger holes enable finger tips to act as friction pads on underlying chart. Opening width is the same as standard rules. Has graduations ? can be used as a protractor to determine compass bearing. Has millimeter metric scale across bottom, making it easy to take distances.
